Does the app upload my photos?

No. All photos remain on your device. LumaFrame does not upload or store your images on any server ever.

Can I use entire photo albums?

Yes. You can select individual photos or entire albums when setting up your frame.

What display styles are available?

LumaFrame includes Grid Flip, Puzzle, Crossfade, Slide In, and Photo Wall. You can also enable a random mode to automatically switch styles.

Can I control how fast photos change?

Yes. Transition speed can be adjusted to match your preferred pace.

What is the photo information overlay?

You can optionally display photo details such as capture date and time, location, camera and exposure settings, and photographer name.

Can I hide all photo information?

Absolutely. The information overlay is completely optional and can be turned off for a clean, distraction-free display.

Does the app support Dark Mode?

Yes. You can follow your device's Light/Dark Mode setting, or set the app to always use light or dark appearance.

Is LumaFrame suitable for long-term display?

Yes. The app is optimized for long sessions and designed to run smoothly as a dedicated digital photo frame.

Which devices are supported?

LumaFrame is designed specifically for iPad to take advantage of the larger display. The app works on any iPad running iPadOS 15.6 and later. Although LumaFrame may work on macOS, its not optimised for Mac.
