Stop Motion Stitcher is a stop-motion animation application that allows users to create animations using their own photos. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. This Privacy Policy applies only to Stop Motion Stitcher and does not apply to any third-party services, websites, or applications that may be accessible through our app. By using Stop Motion Stitcher, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the App.

2. Information Collection
2.1 Local Storage
- Photos:
You have the option to select photos from your device’s storage or take new ones using the device's camera. All selected images are stored locally on your device. Any created videos are saved to your device's photo library. The app does not send any media to any server. Photos will only be used to create your stop motion animation. - Camera Access:
Our app may request access to your device's camera to allow you to capture new media directly within the app
2.2 No Personal Data Transmission
Stop Motion Stitcher does not transmit, store, or collect any personal information from your device to any external servers. All data, including photos, videos and the associated metadata, including location information, remains on your device at all times.
2.3 Analytic Data
Stop Motion Stitcher uses Google Firebase to collect data in a form that does not, on its own, permit direct association with any specific individual. We only collect, use, transfer, and disclose non-personal information to understand user behaviour and improve the App. The following are some examples of non-personal information that we collect and how we may use it:
- We may collect information regarding user activities on our App. This information is aggregated and used to help us provide useful information on how users use the App and to understand which parts of our App, products, and services are of most interest. Aggregated and analytic data is considered non personal information for the purposes of this Privacy Policy.
- We may collect crash data including, but not limited to, device model, operating system version, screen resolution, data and time of the crash as well as device crash logs. Crash data will only be used to fix the crash and improve the App. No crash data is sold, shared, rented, transferred or disclosed to any third party without your express written permission.
- Your exact location is never collected or stored, however, Google Firebase may attempt to approximate your location. Approximate location data will be treated as analytic data.
3. Information Use
3.1 Purpose of Use
- The only purpose of accessing photos and videos is to enable you to create stop-motion animations within the App.
- Camera access is used solely for capturing new media content directly from your device’s camera.
3.2 Sharing and Disclosing
- We do not share, sell, rent, or lease any personal information possibly collected through the App with third parties.
- Analytic data is collected and shared with Google Firebase. See 2.3 for more information.
4. Data Security
- To protect your data, we rely on your device's security measures to protect your data. We do not apply additional encryption to the app's data.
- The security of your device is essential. If you lose access to your device or if it is stolen, unauthorized users may be able to view the information stored there. We recommend using a strong lock screen PIN, password, or biometric authentication method (such as fingerprint or facial recognition) to secure your device.
5. Third-Party Services
- Stop Motion Stitcher uses Google Firebase to collect anonymous analytics. See 2.3 for more information.
6. Children’s Privacy
Children under the age of 13 may use the app under supervision of an adult, parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If we become aware that we have collected such information, we will promptly delete it.
7. Changes to This Policy
- We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
- The updated version will be posted on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of the app after we make changes to this policy constitutes your acceptance of those changes.
